Lots of filtered sunshine today with a high in the mid 60s. Why filtered? The Canadian wildfires are kicking into high gear once again and we will have a decent breeze out of the north feeding the smoke and haze our way. You can see the wildfire smoke very clearly on the satellite at sunrise today.

More sun and warmer tomorrow. The beginning of next week still looks very warm. By midweek things look more unsettled with multiple chances for showers and thunderstorms. The WPC already has us in a slight risk for excessive rainfall Tuesday and Wednesday—something to keep an eye on.
